Call for Papers

Original contributions are invited in any of the theme areas listed below for presentation in the conference.  Abstracts limited up to 300 words mentioning brief method, results and significance of the work related the topic may be submitted through online submission portal, EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icpph2019)

Themes

Each theme area pertains to insects, nematodes, plant pathogens, vertebrate pests,  natural enemies and pollinators of horticultural ecosystems:

Biosystematics and taxonomy

Ecology, modeling and climate change

IPM modules

Biological control – Advances and success stories

Pesticide residues and resistance management

Emerging approaches in pest management (semiochemicals, RNAi, transgenics, irradiation, SIT etc.)

Virus-vector interactions

Biosecurity and quarantine issues and policies

Ecosystem services (Pollinators, mushrooms, scavengers etc.)

Public private interface in plant protection research, skill development and extension

All the submitted conference papers will be peer reviewed by competent reviewers and published in the form of proceedings as a special issue of the Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems journal published by AAPMHE. Awards

The best papers presented by scientists and students in oral / poster sessions will be awarded in the respective categories.
